The Ode Shirt - Old Gold
An Ode to my beautiful Mum Ann-Maree who features through this entire collection and is a constant source of inspiration. Mum is a talented Artist and has painted for a living for many years now. Often searching for the perfect 'Artist Wear' (clothing she feels compliments her arty ways); I decided to make an art smock inspired shirt for her to wear whilst painting or just exploring the world in search of the endless inspiration inspiration she find everywhere.
The end result is this beautiful free flowing tunic/ shirt I have called 'the Ode Shirt'. The perfect smock style shirt for all artists and non artists alike. For anyone who enjoys a little bit of theatre in their clothing without having to compromise on comfort and practicality.
The Ode shirt features a dramatic high low hemline (it quite literally floats behind you as you walk), seashell buttons, round peter pan collar, voluminous gathered smock styled body and dramatic elasticated trumpet sleeves.
Wear loose and free form over tight pants or half tuck into our Petal Pantaloons for a beautiful and artistic outfit.
Old Gold is a beautiful khaki green with a luminous golden glow. A colour inspired by the tarnished gold trophies and vases Mum and I have collected from vintage stores and Antique shops in Daylesford .It Pairs beautifully with brown or black boots for an ethereal yet effortless look for day or night.
