This Wednesday at approximately 5:00 am we welcome the New Moon in Earth sign Taurus.
After the heaviness of our last moon I feel that this is a most welcomed lunation.
As we know New Moons are for Beginnings, starting again, setting intentions and turning a new leaf. Which combines perfectly with the house of slow and steady growth. Taurean energy is all about building a solid, beautiful and steady life.
This is a perfect time for considered long term goal setting rather than the immediate. This moon is a wonderful opportunity to ask yourself what you are calling into the big picture? And how can you action this on a day to day basis? (And in true Taurean fashion; 'can that action be both practical and beautiful?') For example; you may be hoping to manifest love. A taurean way of actioning this day to day ,might be placing a fresh flower from your garden at your bedside every week to repeat a small affirmation into it each morning. 'With this flower I honour the deep love I have for myself today and welcome true, safe and beautiful heart centered relationships in my future.'
Governed by Venus, this sign is one of the most sensual of the zodiac and places much importance on the way beautiful objects, environments, textures, smells etc influence how we feel. They are here to experience life and it's bounty to its full glory. Eating the cake, going on the holiday, drinking the wine; and what a beautiful reminder this is for all of us.
So with this Moon I invite you to indulge a little and dream big. Explore those dreams with pen and paper, visuals, the spoken word or however you feel is most comfortable and potent for you. Don't be surprised if you feel pulled to do this from the comfort of your home, Taurus is a Yin sign and also one with a deep connection to the nest. Perhaps light some beautiful candles, get cosy, play some saucy tunes and fall in love a little with yourself and the possibilities that lie ahead of you.
Sending all my love and cosy candle lit cuddles xxxx
